Sand of the Sahara, Blue of a starry night
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry ,’s masterpiece "Le Petit Prince" published in 1943, features an aviator and a little child prince, who arrived from the distant asteroid B 612 where there are only three volcanoes and a vain rose. The two find themselves in the Sahara desert and the little prince reveals to the pilot his encounters with curious characters from space. The ocher color of the desert sand and the blue of the night were a source of inspiration in the decor of the room, which also features an illustration from the Balbusso sisters of the little prince who converses with the rose. From each of them we can discover the great values of life, such as love and friendship, and remind ourselves that "One sees well only with the heart, the essential is invisible to the eyes” .
